League Information
For more detailed rules and regulations, please refer to the official League Rules and By-Laws. This is not the official league rules or by-laws. This is a summary only used for a description of our league. Update March 24, 2009.
League Overview
- Summer season starts the first Sunday in May.
- Summer season lasts through August.
- A championship tournament is played in August.
- Fall season starts soon after the completion of the Summer season.
- Fall season lasts through October.
- A championship tournament is played at the end of October or the beginning of November.
- Games are played all day Sunday. Saturdays are used for rain makeup, if needed.
- All games are played at the Brady's Run Park Softball/Baseball Complex.
League Rules
- We are an official ASA league and follow the ASA rules along with our league by-laws.
- Men are permitted to swing singlewall bats only. Women can swing composite or double wall bats, but must follow the ASA bat guidelines. Miken and Titanium bats are not permitted.
- Men hit ASA 12inch, .44 core/375 compression softballs. Women hit ASA 11inch, .44 core/375 compression softballs.
- Shirts must be worn at all times and it is highly recommended to wear team shirts. Hats are optional. No bandanas.
Fees and Registration
- Registration deadlines will be determined at league meetings.
- League fees are $385 for the Summer season and $190 for the Fall season.
- Each team is responsible to pay the umpire at every game. The current rate is $13 per game.
- Balls, scorebooks, and lineup cards provided by the league.
Rosters
- Rosters can consist of up to 25 players.
- All players on the roster must sign a league and county waiver.
- Games are played with 5 males and 5 females at all times. You can bat 6, but you must bat 6 males and 6 females. There are exceptions when teams are short players.
